Yea, i know. Its been a long time. But going against popular belief, hell has not frozen over, backstreet is NOT back, and Wesley still lives on. lol

| Ok. So I know this is late but.....
I had to write about it.
On May 16th, 2005 A.D. Sony made an anouncement that knocked the
computer/entertainment off its feet and down the hill. What is this
announcment you ask? Well I'll tell you.
The Playstation 3.
The most powerfull peice of computer entertainment hardware in the world.
Powered by the unnaturally small, newly developed Cell Processor (see
below) the Playstation 3 takes gamers to an all-new level. Developed
for use in the PS3 by SCEI, its parent company Sony
Corp., Toshiba Corp. and IBM Corp. The chip is based on IBM's PowerPC
architecture and will have seven cores, running at 3.2 Ghz each.
That adds up to a whopping 218GFlops (floating point operations per
second). That's 35 times the performance of the processor inside the
current
PlayStation 2, according to Koichiro Katsurayama, a spokesman for SCEI
in Tokyo.
Running alongside the Cell will be a graphics processor developed by
Nvidia Corp. that is capable of handling full high-definition images
and boasts performance of 1.8TFlops. Together, the two chips will give
the PlayStation 3 a total system performance of 2TFlops (Tera-Flops), or about
double that claimed by Microsoft for the Xbox 360.
The processors will be backed up by 256MB of Rambus Inc.'s XDR (Extreme
Data Rate) memory running at 3.2GHz and 256MB of GDDR3 (Graphics Double
Data Rate 3) graphics memory running at 700MHz. System bandwidth
between the processors and memory is as high as 25.6Gbps (bits per
second) for main memory and 22.4Gbps for graphics memory.
The Xbox 360 was revealed a week before Microsoft's Pre-E3 Press
conference, and upon its anouncment it seemed that Sony was offically
out of the running.

Koichiro Katsurayama Showed us just why we should save our pocket money
for a year.

| I feel better. But I feel that there is a pen posed to pop my newly formed bubble. I think that it is just be cause she thinks I'm not going at life with the right approch. Yesterday she said that I was being a dick. It came out of nowhere. I have no idea what I did. And when I ask her she seemed to have an attitude about it, and said that she couldn't tell me what it was.
I don't know how to treat her about it. It sucks because it made me feel like crap.
Sorry, Katie, but I still don't know what I did. If I knew then we could talk about it but if you can't then I don't know what to do about it. Sorry. | | |
